A good deal...

Howdy everyone!

First post here...I apologize for not making a proper introduction but I look forward to learning from everyone here as I venture into rafting.

I was curious if anyone could comment (and I hope not snipe from under me) this raft, located in Carbondale, Colorado.

https://westslope.craigslist.org/boa/5095836457.html

I hope that the posting of links is allowed. Mods, if I broke a rule (as I didn't have time to review them all ) forgive me and let me know.

The text of the ad: 2013 13 foot rocky mountain raft hardly used. New NRS bighorn frame with oarsman seat and front seat. 3 new oars with oar locks. Price $3100

I welcome any and all thoughts. This raft is the one I was looking for (was also looking at the Trib 14 fishing package through NRS).

To buy everything in that package brand new your looking at ruffly $3800 (unless it includes the trailer, but It isn't mentioned in the ad). You're only saving about $700. Not a bad deal, but you can definitely do better. For that price more gear should be included.

Thank you for your opinion, Steve. At what price line would you consider this to be a "better deal"?

Keep looking on Craigslist. You will be amazed the deals on a raft you can find. But when that golden deal appears, be prepaired to pounce cause they last about an hour.
You will find a rig like the one you posted for about $2000 if you keep watching.

If that price included the trailer too, I'd say pounce!
