I'm looking to maximize the space on my 13 ft nrs otter. I'm looking for a cooler to fit a 36" width between the tubes. currently own a 74 qt. I Have been searching all over.
Thanks
Look at the Techniice 90 qt narrower and taller. All the techniice coolers are super stout and hold ice better than anything else. More money then the RTiC, about the same as the canyon.
Hey there, I run a Yeti and a newly acquired Blue cooler. I have been super impressed with it's performance. I rolled the dice on a cheaper cooler but this thing is legit. Better ice retention than my yeti so far.
I own Yeti and Bison. I am on the Bison Prostaff . Bison makes a great cooler and are made in America. Most coolers are measured by total volume (Yeti) and not interior volume. A 75qt bison would be the equivalent to a 90qt Yeti.
So, I’ve been looking at the Bison Cooler website. I’m intrigued, but I am wondering if the patches are too low for sitting in the frame. Is it easy to open/close the latches when it’s sitting loaded onto the raft?
thanks for the responses. seems as the coolers may be too tall for my raft. I'm unsure how tall you want to be before it becomes top-heavy. How far above a tube is too tall?
The weight of your body above the frame is FAR more significant than 30% of the cooler sticking up above the frame.
HIGH SIDE!
