2006 Sotar 16' Elite - Custom-price???

I won a custom 2006 16' Elite used raft in a raffle. I know nothing about rafting and I'm looking to sell. Wondering if anyone knows what I should charge. The boat is the brown/tan material. I have been told they wholesale for $4000.00 Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Get your self some paddles and life jackets and give it a float. You will be hooked and won't be wanting to sell it then. Trust me. But be warned, your friendships with non boaters will suffer. You will start worrying about the water levels and when you can order that new gear you need and how much time you have to spend working instead of boating. It is a terrible life. Maybe you should sell it. I will give you 1500 for it right now, even though it is the ugliest color sotar ever rolled out. It is 11 years old after all. Does it at least have black trim around the D rings, or maybe black seam tape?

If you are in Alaska as your profile shows, than the value of a 16 ft. Sotar that is 10 years old without frame or extras is very difficult to determine in the lower 48, as a realistic value there in AK. Hopefully some AK members can help out.

Yeah with black patches they don't look to ugly. I have a buddy with a tan raft and a set of tan tubes. I could tell he went for economy. Haha

Haven't carried any yet. The rocket boxes were charcoal and food pack.

We did have a groover boat with 5 Jonny Partners.

Actually it is a great color for Utah and Arizona rivers. The tan wouldn't get as hot and wouldn't show the dirt as much. Kind of like the Khaki pants of rafts. If it wasn't in AK , I would put a offer in on it. I could use another big water boat.
