Strange but I think the chafe is a hair shorter. Maybe not but I'm hoping to find someone to make a physical measurement.

So, I'm wondering how they compare. Is your chafe flat from one end to the other or does it begin to rise at the ends?

It rises. That would not be a good frame length. I can measure the flat section shortly and get you that number.

That would work for a frame. The rise at the ends is very minimal.
