14 1/2 ft. Achille Raft

Hello Everyone,

Does anyone have any feedback on this raft? I have found one on Craigslist for $1500 with frame and oars. Not sure if it is a SB or not or even what year, but just wanted to know if anyone has ever had one?

Thanks
Chris

A link would be nice to see what your talking about.......but if it's a self bailer........it sounds like a fair deal to me. I don't own one but the ones I've been around seem to be quality boats and the owners like them and rave about them.

Achilles

Quality Hypalon boats. I'm not sure why there aren't more of them around.

He's referring to the Achilles bucket boat from the early 80's w/ homemade frame that has been for sale for months in Durango.

I own a 14.5 foot Achilles self bailer. I love it! Mine is upwards of a decade old, still holds air like a champ. $1500 sounds like a pretty good deal if it is indeed a self bailer.

Hey guys, it is in fact the raft in Durango on CG. It is not a self bailer and looks like the frame is rather beat up. I think that I will have to pass on it. Thank you for your input!
