ruby ranch to north wash boat ramp

I scored a permit for a section I’ve never done for Sept. Any thoughts toward planning I’d sure appreciate. One 14 ft raft, 3 people. Shuttle advice, must see.. bewares are all appreciated. I’m 66 years old. Done the Grand twice, Deso, San Juan so not worried about rapids too much. Thanks in advance

I've used Coyote shuttle for that trip. Never had any problems with them.

HOT make sure you have shade.

On my little boat trips through there, I'm floccing and filtering water. High silt and turbidity is hard on filters.

Mosquitoes can get bad before you get in labyrinth canyon. Plenty of sand bars to camp on.

Water will be cozy warm. My kid spends most of the time in the water.

Great time of year for that trip. Slow going through lab and Stillwater, speed picks up at confluence, slows back down past dark canyon. A motor is not a bad thing with the headwinds and flat water.

That's one of my favorite fall trips.

Ruby ranch? River left after green river, above river from labyrinth?

To northwash. Is that on Powell after cataract? River right?

I could be wrong. If I am, disregard. I used to sniff glue for a living...

Iím not from Utah so Iím not familiar with the area. Iíve done the Green and San Juan on certain sections. I wish a moderator could just delete this post. Iím doing Mineral Bottom to North Wash or Devils whatever. I am a single boat but could use a second boat for gear if anyone might be interested. Launch Sept. 1.

Vortexan, eather way that will be a nice trip and with this virus messing everything up, I bet you will have more company on the river than you expect, that's a nice stretch of river's. Enjoy.

My original post still applies. With the exception of labyrinth. You'll put in at the labyrinth takeout. Coyote or roadrunner will do that shuttle.

Raymo: doing great buddy. How're you?

Launching fruita to either northwash or bullfrog next week. Waiting on intel of the northwash situation.

Sorry, the "North Wash" part and the "scored a permit" part threw me off...
