Outfitter Rec. for Ruby Horsethief Gear Setup?

A buddy of mine wants to take his family on a R-HT trip and was asking me about where he could rent the gear.

He lives on the Front Range, and would be driving out I-70 to GJ during the summer.

Any recommendations on who rents the gear?

Thanks in advance,

-AH

Rimrock is the place in fruita. They run shuttles too.

Also there is Whitewater Tube Co in boulder. They rent full "multiday rigs" with raft, firepan, groover etc.

Rimrock makes it painless. Put in at there ramp and just leave your boat at the takeout. Very competitive pricing and they’ll run your shuttle.

Never rented gear from rim rock but use them for shutter all the time. They are awesome! Accidentally left the wrong key with my truck at loma and they were at wastewater waiting for us with a trailer, and yes I tipped the driver well for his service.

Plus one for Rimrock. Good prices, great service, and so convenient with their own boat ramp.

+1 for RRA. Have rented from them several times over the past 5 years and they have always been easy to work with. We usually have a mix of private boats on our trips and ended up with 2 of there oars in October once - they were kind enough to let us return the oars in spring. Great people!

Rimrock is amazing. You also get to launch from their ramp just upstream of the RHT put-in...you get the skip the ramp insanity that RHT can be in the summer.
