Middle June in Colorado

I will be going to the Outdoor Retailer show in colorado around June 18th and I am hoping to bring my raft and get some rowing in. I am wondering what will be in season during that time. It is in Denver so anything within 2-3 hours would be preferred.

Thank you!

Based on current snowpack, the Eagle river should be very fun (high) around that time but as previously mentioned there are several rivers and tributaries that will do the same. I just happen to live in the Colorado river basin, about 5 minutes from the Eagle river and 30 min from the Colorado river.

where to run

Go to the Arkansas river. There's everything from class II-class V avialable for day tripping. You can't go wrong with Brown's Canyon in mid June. There's a reason its the most populated river in the country. (400,000 people/summer.)

PS I guided ther for 9 years, late 80's. If you got thrwarts in your raft, I been entertaining the idea of getting a crew together to go paddle for the weekend. I'd be happy to paddle guide it & supply a crew. If I do it myself, I'm not gonna bust out my gear...I have no boat trailer anyway. Would rent or borrow from someone down there.
Its 2-3 hours from Denver, depending on which part of the river you go to. Thee's 140 miles of runnable whitewater segments. Please get in touch if you want to join forces.
