Lower Owyhee Rome to Leslie Gulch minimum days?

Really want to run the Owyhee this Spring, but hard to get enough days off work. What is the minimum number of days to go from Rome to Leslie Gulch? I know that is highly dependent on flow, wind, and lake level. But is there anyone out there who has done it in 4 days?

You can easily do Rome to Birch Creek in 4 day/3 nights.

Am having the same issue with PTO and job pressures. This spring/early summer is supposed to be epic if the snow pack holds at all. I am in Seattle which adds the better half of a day there and back but if you can hold till mid-late May would be interested in joining a floatilla or at least being a follower/leader to a second group of rafts.

I agree. I have done it in four days after we were windbound on our first planned day of a 5 day trip. We were in IKs and canoes, maybe a little faster than a raft, but it did not feel like a push. We talked to kayakers doing it in 3 days, but that sounded like a push, minimal gear, etc. They kept paddling.

Yes, but I really want to go to Leslie Gulch. The best hot spring of the trip is at Echo Rock on the lake. Besides, don't want to deal with the road at Birch Ck.

Did 4 days at 2000 CBS a few years ago. 40 mph winds for 2 days and I wish we had had another day (or waited a week). That hot spring is awesome but the camping is horrible. Cockleburrs and nothing flat in sight.

We did it in 3 days / 2 nights in 2017 at @3,000 cfs, but with no time for hiking, etc. Long days. Rome to Birch Creek.
