Best camping spots on ABC sections of Green?

Hi All, Looking to do a trip up to the ABC sections of the Green. Seems like you can reserve spots or just figure it out when you get there. I imagine the reservable spots are nicest. But maybe not, maybe they are just for bigger groups.

Any beta on whether i should reserve spots and which ones are the best? Of course it will depend on availability.

The spots are at the this link, https://www.recreation.gov/camping/campgrounds/250036

Thanks!

~Matt

Some spots are reserveable online. Most are float in first come first serve. However, you do still need to sign up on the board at Little Hole for the camp you want and pay $13. Almost all the camps are really nice and you can't really go wrong. I normally try and avoid stonefly and trails end. Trails end had a bunch of ants in the last couple of years, not sure if they are still there.

I've always just signed up at Little hole, probably just to avoid the extra reservation fee on rec.gov lol Like was said, can't go wrong. Cottonwood and Red Creek have the advantage of a vault toilet nearby though. Camping gets a bit sketch down in C and the bugs will get brutal after the flush is over.

No camping on A section as I'm sure you know.
Do you want to fish from camp?

cottonwood is best, toilet and flatter area behind the tent pads.

All are smaller sites with tent pads (8 people is the most we typically do)...some sites may say 12 people ?
The sign up board is a joke, as ive complained on here many times. It says you can only sign up the day of.....however they allow the board to be filled by whoever drives upto it....5 days out.

Always- maybe 1/2 of the sites are slept in at most, however the board is full.

Not sure you will be able to make it under Taylor flat bridge or have to pull out. Just make sure to sign up at little Hole or you may be in someone’s camp site. All sites are really nice
