Hey All,
Been searching through the forum trying to get a good read on this section of the river, found a few threads from years back, but was hoping to get a few additional questions answered.
We are planning to launch Sunday afternoon (6/30) or Monday morning (7/1) and make Corn Creek by Tuesday night. We'll be in 16ft cat and 14ft raft.
Seems water is below "average" for this time of year (around 4,000@ Shoup), is 25miles over 2 days a reasonable push up there?
How gnary are the rapids going to be at that level? I've got a novice boater and it seems the biggest concern should be Cramer (about a III+ at this level?) but it's hard to find beta on anything above the confluence. (Compared to West Water perhaps?)
Any suggestions for campsites (I'm thinking Ebenezer would be a gimme if all else fails).
Thanks in advance!
Zac
