Westwater Permit

I have a Westwater permit available for this Saturday. It is an overnight permit that I am unfortunately unable to use and don't want to see it go to waste. I am asking $50 for it. Please txt me 815-262-6779

Please understand that the following language is found at the very beginning of the stipulations for private river trips in Westwater Canyon:

"Permits are not to be sold nor publicly advertised."

You may make two changes to your launch so I suggest calling the river office this morning and moving the date thus freeing up this Saturday for someone else.

So the question is....
Did he turn it in, change to someone else it did he just let it whither and die thus denying another from using it?

We did not receive any cancellations or any changes and there was still one open launch for Saturday. Frequently people are fearful of the water above 13,000 cfs. Two of the four launches put-in on Saturday June 4th but two went unused. It would be great if people would cancel rather than simply not show.

We won't cancel this Saturday!

How's the mosquito situation at the WW Ranger Station? I always assume the swarm will be nasty large, but it never hurts to ask.

Good thing he left his phone # so we can all call him out for not turning it in.
I know people who would've used it

Just a reminder that there was one launch available for Saturday that nobody ever picked up. We are very diligent about updating the calendar on our web page so that folks can pick up available launches.
