Stateline rapid blocked?

Has anyone been through Stateline rapid on the Dolores recently (past few days previous of May 13)?

Heard through second hand account that Stateline rapid is "blocked." Don't know if that means a log is breaching a narrow channel in one of the 4 drops of state line rapid or whether they could be referring to Diversion Dam rapid upstream.

Any beta greatly appreciated

We are just got back from road scouting state line all the way down to rock slide. Nothing blocking the river unless it's at the bottom of the right channel... which you can't see from the road. We will scout from river right tomorrow.

Thanks J Dizzle

Thanks JDizzle. I just finished Bradfield-Gypsum trip a few days ago and my buddies continued on towards Dewey (lucky SOBS!!). Long story short someone they were talking to in Slickrock canyon yesterday or today made the claim that Stateline rapid was blocked so naturally they're on the sat. messenger asking me to ask the buzz what's up. Thanks again!

Stateline rapid blocked?

I ran stateline on Thursday the 11th. We were also told of a full sized cottonwood in the rapid. All we saw was a root wad, possibly attached to tree way down in the far left channel. Even if you ended up in the way left side "chicken raper" you could still maneuver around root ball on either side. We were fortunate in being able to scout both sides of stateline thanks to the help of a very generous local. I doubt you'd see the blockage from the typical right side scout. Either way you really don't want to be in that left side. Unless things have changed it is runnable.
