Snake River through Hells Canyon video - 7/6/15-7/11/15

Embedded is a 6-minute video of our Hell's Canyon trip from July 6-11, 2015 running the class III and IV rapids. Video shot with a gopro hero 3+ black mounted on the back of the boat. Audio of the rapids recorded with an Edutige Dual Microphone ETM-001 connected to the gopro through a hole I cut through the waterproof case. Suggest watching the video fullscreen in 1080p60.

Attached is a picture of the camera mounted to the back of the boat - camera mounted to a 1.5" sch 40 PVC pipe that is slid into a 2" sch 80 PVC pipe sleeve that is connected to the boat frame. Turned out to be a solid setup.

I'm very happy with the final version of this video. It was a great view of us getting spun around and beat up in Granite.

Interestingly enough, that was the only video clip that I shot the entire week that had an interloper in it. Of course, I knocked lots of spiders and webs off of the gopro and pole later in the week. Little bugger....

We hit Granite right at 9,650 cfs, during the lower water time of day down canyon. That far down, the water rises later in the afternoon.

Sweet what a well done video. I'm wanting to hit Hells Canyon and thus really helps.
