Bublisk is what the donut boat is called. Just roll it right to the put-in.

I'm ready. Someone get some doughnut tubes and some paddles, I will grab a chainsaw and some string. Lets do this!

JPW is doing a 15% off custom boat sale... Someone build it, I'll happily run it through great falls!

There is a guide down around The New in WV that has one. Travis something Ran it Down the Upper Gauley 3 or 4 years ago. Looked like fun

There is a book titled "Brothers on the Bashkau (sp?)" about an expedition that looks like these guys. Hard book to find but a great read. Crazy homemade gear.

I have an old 14' bucket boat with no floor, should get another 14 footer and stand them up lengthwise opposite from each other. Could weld up a frame (or just lash some timber together) between the rafts and give those Rooskys a run for their money.

Where was the guy in the white helmet the whole time the craft was pinned against that rock? Just breathing air from the foam as it rushed past his face while the one guy did all the work?
