sept and oct on the grand

just wondering if anyone has any feedback on sept and oct trips on the Grand, weather, sun, water, camping ect ect. thinking of changing my put in dates for the lottery than i normally put in for. any feedback is great thanks

I think October is the best time to be down there because of the weather, no motors, and limited trips. Also believe more people put in for those dates so consider that when changing your selections. Think September would be the same but part of it motors are allowed if I am not mistaken.

July is probably ok. August? Absolutely! Still plenty of daylight, but not as much as July. Want stars? January is your best choice. You even get more days in January than July, so bonus on that.


I bet warm beer tastes colder in August.
