Seat Mount for 1.9" Frame Pipe

Just got my new frame from Gary (it's awesome btw), and am trying to figure out how to mount a seat on it. Don't want to sit on the cooler - we do enough day trips where I don't want to always have that with us. NRS' pipe is 1.66" and Gary's is 1.9". Does anybody have experience putting the NRS seat mount (NRS Frame Passenger Seat Mount at NRSweb.com) on the fatter pipe? If this won't work, any tips/experience? Please keep in mind, I don't have access to a metal shop to weld, cut, or otherwise fabricate (nor would I know how...). Thanks for the help!

If you have two crossbars I've seen unistruct and electrical clamps at Home Depot used to make a seat support

Aren't DRE frames 1.9"? Maybe AAA too?

Why didn't you have Gary make a seat mount for the boat?
Usually the frame builder can provide all that if you need it.

Complete oversight honestly. It was also a pretty long process just to get the frame ordered and made..so it goes. Anyway, it sounds like DRE uses the same size pipe and have some good options. Easy enough to go down and talk with them in person.

"What kind of seat are you planning to use?" Seems a pretty standard and necessary question for a builder to ask when spec'ing out a custom frame?!?

Lots of companies use that size:

AAA inflatables
Down river
River boat works
clavey

Do a search two ideas mesh seat or nrs style high/low back tractor seat. expect to pay +/- $200 for either way.

Planning to use a standard low/mid back tractor seat. Ideally a Michigan or something cheaper than a rafting specific seat, provided I can get a mount that will be compatible. Both DRE and AAA's websites made it seem like the only option was welding, but apparently that's not the case. I'm going to go by DRE today and see what their options are.
