San Juan T R

Paddled the San Juan during high flow June 19-25.
Eight foot was a large wave train to be ran on the left with a hole on the right.
Ran Government on left side a large wave not breaking . Ran river in a single duckie. The 15 ft raft fit into the trough at Goverment with a foot in front. Rock on right completely covered with water. On left it was a huge wave.
I saw they were ramping down the water July 2 with a 12 day ramp down.I read it takes 5 day to reach Bluff or Mexican hat I can not remember wich.I hope this helps some decide wich route to take if they are putting on and it is still high water.
