Northgate Canyon @ 500 CFS?

Rumor has it that Northgate is flowing right now. Anyone have beta on this? Seems runable at 500.

I ran it once and found it to be incredibly boring at low water if you are looking for good rapids. If you just want to float something easy it would be a good trip. Not sure on minimum level though.

I'd call North Park Anglers and ask them. They always know the skinny on the canyon. Personally I'd be skeptical this early in the season. It might be flowing, but I'd guess it's not flowing all the way through the canyon, especially in the really shady spots. Gauge shows to be ice affected, so unless it's wrong I'd say it's still frozen. Check back in a month maybe.

At least a month. I've seen heavy snow there in early June.

Don't do it! you need AT least 800 cfs, with 1200 optimum! That and any take out you may consider will be blocked by snow. I know you be jonesin but be patient grasshopper she will run and run BIG!
