No more stopping for Twin Tunnels blasting

Commercial river rafting outfitters and private boaters on Clear Creek near Idaho Springs no longer have to stop on the water during tunnel blasting activities. Protective steel canopies are in place on both ends of the eastbound I-70 tunnel bore to contain rock and debris from escaping the tunnel when blasts are done.
