New to the Salt Lake City Area

I will be moving to Salt Lake City very soon. I am looking for people to paddle with. I am a primarily a class II to class III boater and have most of my own gear to do muti-day trips. I also like to kayak, mainly play boating.

The Wasatch Mountain Club would be a good place to start. They have a very active boating division.
About Us

Utah Whitewater Gear is a great rafting & whitewater shop. They are a sponsor here on MB. Good place to go for gear & info. They have a spring gear swap, and I think they will be doing some safety clinics this year. Go to the gear swap and you'll meet local boaters.

Welcome to Utah.

Welcome to utah. You will find no shortage of people to paddle with. The good news is that u are a half days drive to some of the best water in 5 states southern utah canyons, no ut clear and fast running rivers., idaho, colorado, wy have runs that will keep you engaged for decades. Bad news, is there are no "afterwork" runs....close by once high water season is over. From sept to nov we have had mild bluebird days that make long desert trips very enjoyable. Anyway, welcome.

Welcome, I'm in SLC too. We usually throw out invites when we have extra space on our trips. Our first one will be around Memorial Day down on Westwater.
