Moab Daily OUCH (bug report?)

Curious how the ouch factor is with the bugs on the Moab Daily. Anything to be concerned with? We are camping 2 nights this week. Mosquito report?

Thanks

One of our staff just returned and said the skeeters weren't bad but the tiny black gnats were moderately annoying mid evening. Water is dropping fast. Have fun!

Kinda a funny little side note here... this February when we were down on the Moab Daily, we came across a bunch of free drink cards from some pizza shop down in Salida that someone stuffed in the beach score!

I hope those free drink cards are for Amica's! Best you've had in the mountains! I bet the guys at RiverBoat Works can back me up on that!

Moab Daily

River is running low but we did it on Saturday in 4 hours. No real rapid issues. Whites Rapid rock and hole are clearly visible, stay left and put your nose in the hole. Horse flys are the worse thing around any vegetation during the day. "No-see ems" are somewhat annoying as you buddies just said. My 13 y.o. had 7 mosquito bites. We're from Dolores CO
