Moab Daily @ High Water

Has anyone run this stretch lately? Is it super washed out? How is it running besides crowded and HOT?

We did it at 22K..... Whites has three big waves (5ft ish) down the middle but easily avoided right or left.

Dropping big time but still fun. Go early (before 9) to miss the big commercial mess.

And to miss the wind.

Might be washed out, but it's still a fun day float, about the only way to cool off in Moab right now, and there's not much else close if you're in the area.

Good gatoring and high kick potential. Watch out for Pats bush and Al’s Wall!🍻Don’t let Wendy death roll you in the shallows

I went last week and had a fun run. I don't remember the exact flow but I think it was around 20K. The rapids and wave trains were not washed out and actually bigger than the norm and great fun. White was a full on class 3 with a nice big hole right at the top and laterals coming off the right wall. My passengers got a great ride!
We were there on a Monday so wasn't crowded, only a few commercials and a hand full of privates. There was wind but not horrid and the current moved us along.
Yeah, it's hot, you're in the desert in July.
