Middle fork blowouts? Anyone ?

Big storms moved across Oregon and Idaho last night. Saw reports of slides across 95 around grangeville. Anyone heard anything about the MF having blowouts? Possibility seems high

RIGGINS, ID - US95 is closed from 4 miles south of Grangeville to New Meadows due to rock, mud and power lines blocking the roadway. The Idaho State Police say the cleanup has begun and some residents along the route are being evacuated where necessary. Road blocks are in place at mileposts 161 and 234 where traffic is being turned around. The bulk of the slide activity is reportedly between mileposts 197 to 205. There has not been an estimate on when US95 will reopen.

Shuttle Companies are posting on Facebook that vehicles were not delivered to Carey.

I'd think there could be some along the Main, too.
Makes me wanna go see.
Not like I need a reason to go boating.

Just came off the MFS two days ago. We had a major storm 8/2 that turned the river into chocolate milk for the evening, but it cleared the next day. According to Forest Rangers at Indian, nothing of any significance had blown out at that time. There were some new slides along the river that were not there the last time I floated, but did not form any new rapids.

We just got off the Snake today at Heller. The salmon was light chocolate soup when we passed it two days ago. The Snake was still dirty today at Heller.
