Lower Clear Creek this week-Cats, Rafts, R2?

Lower Clear Creek is a pretty prime level right now for Cats & R2.
My usual crew is in Idaho and am looking for others to do some after work runs with. Like to put in just below Rigor Mortis and take out at park just east of Ford St (just above Coors). Like this stretch at 400 to 600cfs.
When the sun comes out and stays out, it will quickly go over this and not come back into that magic range until July.

Hope to be out there this week Tuesday and Wednesday.

Get it while it is good!

Text or call, safer and easier shuttle with more than one.

Lower Clear Creek is at a prime level right now (440cfs)

Rocks in Screaming Quarter Mile are well padded.
Elbow Falls and the Dam are at user friendly levels.
And the Surf is up in the Golden Play Park.

Above 700cfs, Elbow Falls and the Dam both get a little bit nasty.
A few days of sun and it will quickly get over 700 cfs.
Then will need to wait until July for it to drop back down.

Get it while it is good.
I will be out both Wed & Thurs afternoons.

So, I have pretty much had this prime run to myself the last 3 days.
And while it is wonderful to have a private river, I am amazed
by the number of boater that will drive hundreds (or even thousands) of miles to run a river, but won't run a river in their own backyard.

Pretty sure we saw you yesterday at around 4 when we were finishing up. Enjoy the private river, those little cats look fun.

Lower Clear Creek spiked to over 750 cfs over night.
Upper Clear Creek (Lawson) to over 550.

Game On!

If you saw two cats around 4pm that was us.
We put in just below Rigor Mortis and ran down thru the Golden Play Park.
Got to love having such a great run practically in my backyard.

Small light weight boats really open up a lot more boating options.
No longer limited to rivers with boat ramps.
Also allows boating at much lower flows than a big boat.
Small & light extends the boating season on both ends.

Off to the Eagle & Numbers for the weekend.
The next three weeks are going to be Colorado boating at its best!

I'm down for some CC runs this next week. I run a small R2 boat and hit CC often. I'd be excited for Lawson and Kermits next week.

Lawson or Kermits this week?

Anyone running Lawson or Kermits this week?
I'm self employed aka "flexible" on time.
Black Rock thru the Damn Dam is still a little high, but soon!
I have a 12' cat.
