John Day at lower flows?

Anyone out there have information about floating the John Day from Clarno to Cottownood at around 800-1000cfs (my estimate of what it will be)? We're taking a 15' raft in early June, wondering what to expect in the Clarno rapid. Also heard it can get quite windy in the afternoon? Thanks, happy floating!

Shouldn't be a problem - BLM page says rafts can handle it as low as 500. Be sure to scout Clarno. There is a rock at the bottom of the hole that will be tough to avoid but at best you can sneak by and at worst you'll bounce off of it.

And yes, can get pretty windy in the afternoons, but all long stretches end at a bend.
