Glenwood Town Run Question

Planning to do the Glenwood town run with the kiddo this weekend to circumvent the Gore fest chaos on the upper C. Normally we've done Grizzly Creek to the Two Rivers park, but was curious what other takeouts(with parking for car & trailer) are available farther down river for private boaters.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

South Canyon (dirt ramp: 4x4 recomended)
New Castle East (ramp is a few miles east of New Castle off the 70)
Rifle (ramp is just off the Hwy)

We will probably be out with the kids sometime in the late AM for Griz to 2 Rivers or SC.

Can also takeout at Riverbend (the eastbound pullout from I-70 between Canyon Creek and New Castle - dirt ramp but not steep) and Silt has a concrete ramp. I've added these to riverbrain.com so you can see them on the Google map with mileages.

We'll be out there today in duckies and hopefully get a flotilla together tomorrow.

Thanks for the suggestions.

If you see an orange NRS Revolution out there, that's us. Planning to run Shoshone, and then pick up wiff and kiddo at Grizzly.

Not sure of it's name, but this is the one I was thinking about using.

that would be the south canyon ramp. very steep and the concrete is usually covered with loose gravel making it slick. I once watched a jeep cherokee hit his brakes and kept sliding back into the water till he put it in drive and gave it gas. 4 wheel drive is the way to go on that ramp... just my opinion...have a great float!

Shoshone to South Canyon is about a perfect day trip. I did notice quite a bit of commercial action at South Canyon the last time I was there.
