Flaming Gorge to Lodore @ high flow

We are planning a June 9 launch on the Green at Flaming Gorge, and a 4-night float ending at Lodore. Have permits, etc. 3 14' boats, 7 boaters all intermediate skill level. Wondering if anyone has experienced this stretch at 8600 cfs - the expected flow on those dates. Thanks!

I may be wrong but IIRC, you can't take out at Lodore - I think you have to have a permit for Lodore and continue downstream.

Anyone got better beta than my memory?

DINO River Office requires a play permit for the day of takeout, and they request you do so after 2PM to avoid conflict with parties launching.
Any info for the run upstream at high water? Thanks.

Scout the bridge that is just below the John Jarvie Ranch, It is the only low bridge that You will need to worry about. It is near the end of the B section. It may be a tight squeeze to get under it, if the river is that high. Have fun, good luck.

They don't have a detailed release schedule for that far out. They have currently tamped down the planned spring release due to the Yampa peaking in the next 10 days. They have stated the spring release will be longer than originally planned though, which was roughly two weeks.

I would check here about 1-2 weeks before you launch:
