We ran Dove Creek to Slickrock last weekend and had a great experience with this shuttle service. 970-677-2301

What can you give for a trip report on this section. I had planned to to slickrock to bedrock as we had another couple in a canoe joining us but am now considering the dove creek section. I've never been on this stretch (or the dolores at all) but am an experienced rower. how are the rapids? Camps?

The camps were plentiful for the most part, though the last 10 miles of the float the sites are very few and far between. We found an awesome camp about an hour from the put-in on river right near a big rock on the bank. I don't think you'll have difficulty finding nice sites. I'm reluctant to give you any TR re rapids as the flows are about to increase significantly. We ran it at 2000. I'd certainly suggest scouting Snaggletooth. We ran it left of the upper hole, then a move left to avoid Snaggletooth rock and the hole below on the right. Some seemed to struggle getting left of the rock but I found it to be an easy move. If your friends are in a canoe I hope they are good!

Have a fun float!
