Cache La Poudre 6/8

Looking to get together with another boat or two for the Poudre this weekend. Never boated the river before so don't look to me for specific knowledge. I'd like to run some more challenging stuff, been looking at putting in a few miles above the Mis...whats a good take out for a day run? I'll be rowing a small cat, no passengers.

This is a great level to do all of Stevens Down (12 miles), a lot of fun in a cat. Take out at BTO. Weather looks good and river is rising fast so there will be a lot of people out; if you just show up at the put in or takeout you will have no problem finding a crew to boat with this time of year.

Thanks...good info. I imagine hitching is pretty easy for boaters as it's all roadside.
