At what level is Sock it To Me the gnarliest?

I've run several times at the 4500ish cfs range and it is a good hit that can get you in trouble! I ran once at 12000ish cfs range and was mostly just rolling waves and washed out. At what level does it pack the most punch?

Id agree that the 4-5k range is probably the punchiest.

5000-6000 IMHO is the sharpest hit, and then you have to recover and miss the magnetic rock at the bottom on river left, that flips more boats than the hole. If you're good, and hit the timing right, you can sneak it on the right, just takes a lot of momentul as you drop off the ledge, push hard to the right thru the 2 little compression waves coming off the right. Easier in a small boat than an 18 footer, but it can be done. It can be run on the left as well, but is a butt clenching drop.

I can see that. I don't know that Ive ever run on 6k. Tons of runs on 3-5, once around 10 and then some in the teens on up to 20.

Never even thought of the wave as anything other than fun, but from 2800-4600 if you are left of the center at all you are going to get magnetized. I feel like I hear about as many flips on magnetic wall as skull

3950! A buddy and I each almost flipped at 3950 12-15 years ago. I'll never forget that level.
