New Years Resolutions

What are your New Year Resolutions for the boating season? What are you going to try and do or get done this year?

Mine is to only post positive comments and helpful tips on the Buzz.

Having gone back to school and still working, mine is simply to get out and paddle! Shooting for 50-75 days this year ideally.

Planning to paddle every break, so spring break, between spring/summer semester, between summer/fall semester, and at Xmas break.

Still trying to come up with where to paddle for the 2 weeks in May/June that I haven't been before, though may just head to Cali. I'm open to adventure destination suggestions!

Cheers!
Dave

For News Resolutions I always make "quotas" for rafting and camping. Last year my rafting quota was 40 days on the river, get 8 different rivers, and 2 moonlit floats. I got 44 days on 7 rivers and both moonlit floats.

This year I am saying:
40 river days (school/research will interfere with # of day trips this year but my Grand trip will be padding my numbers).
Boat two new rivers in state and two new rivers out of state.
Take at least 6 new people on their first fool moon float.
Sucker my dissertation advisor into boating with me.
Have a (not PG) intimate experience with my significant other on the boat twice.
Take three people on their first Multiday.
I won't let anyone convince me to raft class five stuff anymore

Keep the black side down.
Take some first timers on their first multi-day trip
Enjoy more days on the river than I did last year.
