Government shutdown and San Juan launch

We have a permit for Bluff to Mexican Hat, launching on Oct 3. After speaking with a local innkeeper in Bluff, sounds like the BLM is still allowing launches, provided you have a permit. That is about the extent of my knowledge on the situation. Don't know if law enforcement will be patrolling, or if BLM would stop someone, or if they are able to close the boat ramp, etc, etc. Please look into it more, and don't take my word for it (however, we are proceeding onward and downward tomorrow). Happy floating!
