Class 4/5 Cat Boaters in Montrose?

Looking to expand my boating connections. After living in central and northern CO for many years, my wife and I are back in this part of the state.

I'm mainly interested in boating class 4/5. Favorite runs are Upper A, Piedra, Slaughterhouse on the Roaring Fork... I boat with a few friends out of Durango and Bayfield. We are experienced and safety oriented.

I run a 13' Legend for class 4/5 and also have a self-bailer for class 3/4 multi-day stuff.

I'm a school teacher, so have spring/summer off for playing. Commercial guided for 16 years, been boating for 24 years on rivers throughout the West from big water to steep and technical.

Primarily interested in steep and technical stuff these days- kinda returning to my roots.

Gimme a shout if you're looking to get out. Piedra and Upper A are coming in. Been on the Piedra twice this season and Westy a couple times too.

Give me a call when you head over to Slaughterhouse, Upper A, Cross Mtn, Crystal, Taylor, Lake Creek or Barrel Springs!

Gone until June 1, probably will miss the Piedra.
You need to come over for a high water Arkansas weekend! Early/mid June?
