Boise Whitewater Park Surfers Question

Hello.....looking for advice from the surfers that surf the Boise Whitewater Park. Denver is getting a similar park with six new waves designed for surfing.

I'm coming from a river surfing background but on a paddle board and it doesn't look like your able to paddle into those features.

Need advice on what kind of board to buy, how long, and what brand is good for those type of waves.

Thank you!
