Photos?

What's the trick with photos? If I upload as attachments, I can see thumbnails when I view the site on my phone but only links on the computer. If I try to link from a hosting site (Flickr), I see only the "broken link" icon. What am I missing?

Hey,

Are you seeing the broken link on your phone or your computer? Are you able to see the image below? Is it just Flickr images you are having an issue viewing?

Hi, Niall. I see the broken link symbol on both. Yes, I can see the image below. I've only tried to POST (not view, per se) Flickr images: that's what gives me the broken image icon. I've also tried uploading directly from the computer as attachments: that's what shows on the computer only as links, but on the phone as thumbnails with a link.

It sounds like you might be copying the wrong link from Flickr. When you click on share and copy the link from the Flickr image are you copying the share link or the BB code link? The BB code link is the one you'll need to copy and paste to the site.

Scott, what do you use to extend the height of your oar towers?

They came that way. At least at the time I set this thing up--ten years ago--NRS sold two different tower sizes. These taller ones work well . . . wait. Dammit. I remember doing some sort of customization of the bolts, but that may have had to do with the modification I KNOW I did to these towers, which is to put ball bearings above and below the bronze sleeves. (Yeah, I know that's crazy. But they're sure quiet . . .).

I just checked--NRS still carries both 9" and 12" pins. These are the twelves.

(To be clear: I guess we're both talking about the pins. The actual towers are NRS standard, so far as I know.)

Hey guys,

I'm glad this has been resolved.
Let us know if this issue arises again.

Richard.
