Ads dissapearing - Message to the Adminstrator

I would like to know why my ads are disappearing on the Ad page. I have twice posted my NRS Zen PFD for sale and now twice the ad has disappeared. Not only that but after 1 day the ad was marked as SOLD when it was not.

I would like an answer, would like my ad restored, and more importantly for everyone, would like the advertising function to be fixed of ALL its problems.

Thank You,

John

Ads marked sold disappear in 48 hours. Edit your add and remove sold if it appears.

I regularly browse the classifieds, and they have been clearly not working properly for several weeks now.

Ads show up but are immediately marked sold, multiple copies of the ad appear, and many ad links just say "ad on hold"

PLEASE FIX.

One work around I've noticed is that if you post it it will be marked as sold right away. Refrerst the page and edit your ad by relisting it, then it seems to work ok.

The buzz is falling apart, I think they are trying to sell it, must have lost interest in this project. Please don't give up on this site admins until it's sold.

I'd be happy to run the site if you cannot as a paid employee if you are looking for someone while you try to sell.

Considering we get to advertise for free, I would lighten up your tone. Sure if you were paying for it you could demand what you are asking for. Just sayin....

Mountain Buzz is owned by a media corporation that makes money through advertisements on this site. One way that Mountain Buzz has maintained relevance is by maintaining the go to classifieds section for rafts and rafting gear in the Western US. If the site is messed up and people stop visiting the page, the company won't be able to sell ads and will lose money.

You know what they say: if something is free on the internet, it is because you are the product, not the customer.

Either way, it is perfectly fine to complain. If VerticalScope doesn't get it together, then "the buzz" will wither and die.

Nothing is free. There are no shortage of ads on this site (unless you use alternate means to remove them). There are plenty of paid vendors on this site as well...and they use the classifieds too.

It isn't much to ask to have a functioning site.
