The River of Doubt
Anyone read it?? It's a fantastic "first descent" account of an entirely uncharted tributary of the Amazon completed by Theodore Roosevelt, son, scientists, brazilians. The journey took over six months.... death, disease, starvation, cannibalistic natives, rapids/portages, completed in dug-out canoes. Amazing story. Kinda made me feel like JWP's journey was kid's play in comparison. Completed by an ex-president....pretty cool.
I would highly recommend it......
