That is really irritating!

While making a quick reply to a post in the rafting forum, the website kept bumping me up to the top of the page so that I could see the ad there. I didn't want to see the damned ad. I wanted to write a quick reply. But every few seconds, I'd get bumped back to the top. Scroll down, get half a word typed, and get bumped back to the top.

Come on, guys. That just sucks.

Are you on the mobile site or desktop? And what browser are you using?

I'll pass this on to the admins.

Thanks for reporting it.

Hey,

The next time you see these ads that are playing with sound or causing your page to jump, we'd need the following:

1.What device you're using.
2.The OS/browser you're using.
3.Your general location.
4.The URL of the ad, you can get this by right clicking the ad and clicking "copy link address". You can also click "inspect" and copy the highlighted text.
5.Screen shot

Once we get that we can send it to our tech team and get them to investigate. Sorry for the inconvenience.

This same thing happens to me EVERY time I post and has for months now. I am using an Apple Mac Book Pro and Safari. Always posting from my laptop at my home in Buena Vista.

I just tried it with Windows Vista on a desktop and nearly latest Mozilla and got no jumping.

I refuse to install Flash, Shockwave, Special Codecs, etc. or anything else that is used to deliver ads in your face whether you like it or not. I also have Ad Aware installed to eliminate the statics ads as well.

If a website requires a special program to view something, it just doesn't get viewed. If a website won't let me in because I have Ad Aware, the website will not be viewed.

There's always other ways to get the content you are after without accepting aggressive website behavior.
