I like to think he's a modern day D.B. Cooper, getting away with the loot. Maybe he was a Navy Seal and held his breath and kept a low profile and got away... maybe he had a small oxygen tank.

Maybe he'll send a postcard from Mexico one day that the Pueblo PD will pretend they never received. That's the story I'm telling myself
