System of a Down - Aerials
Led Zepplin - When the Levee Breaks

And if anyone plays dueling banjo's while I'm on a river trip I'm OUT - no squealing like a piggy for me! Of course I'm a girl so I'm probably safer than you guys out there...

For some outstanding music by the river, trek down to 'noleans and join my wife and I as we return for the NOJazzfest. Last weekend in April, first weekend in May.

Flights from Denver are going fast.

Check out the loooooooooong list of music at the fest.
New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival | April 24 - 26 & April 30 - May 3, 2009
Neil Young has just be added to the May 3rd schedule.

And then the music in the clubs at night is just unreal.
Jazzfest Grids | The Nearly-World-Famous Jazzfest Grids
This site gets updated on a regular bases as the clubs confirm new acts.

It's also a great way to pump some cash into a still decimated part of America.
