It is exciting to work with such a great local and national organization that shares our values of bettering our community by aiding the youth of the region. Paddle Fest has a lot to offer for the kids in Chaffee County and the Boys and Girls Club stands to benefit from the growth in this event.” Earl Richmond- Paddle Fest
The Boys & Girls Club of Chaffee County provides a safe, positive place to learn and grow, ongoing supportive relationships with caring adults and lots of fun!
While today’s youth face many challenges, Boys & Girls Clubs continue their long tradition of offering proven solutions that work. Clubs have provided youth with daily guidance-oriented character development programs, firmly establishing a reputation as “The Positive Place for Kids” where kids are encouraged to BE GREAT in a wide variety of ways. Their mission is clear: Build upon this success to reach out and serve more youth. Our community’s future depends on it.
“We are honored to be chosen by the hard-working folks at Paddle Fest to be their partner. Many of Club members have parents involved in this event. Collaboration is what makes any organization or project effective and this project should benefit the whole community with the more awareness of Boys & Girls Clubs, educating youngsters about water sports, and bringing economic benefit to the area. We will be asking for many volunteers to help.” Karen Dils, Board President
