Nokia 900 anounced today

For you tech heads out there:

Nokia anounced the latest release of their internet tablet the N900.

The unit is more of a computer than a phone. I have the current version, N810 and it doesn't even have a phone. Runs on maemo linux (debian based?) and all the software is open source. I can play youtube vids, stream napster and rhapsody, play more music formats than the iphone. Make Skype calls. Has micro SD slots for extra storage. It gives you a true browser experience instead of Apples manipulated/neutered version and there is no crappy ATT ripoff contract. And it has a higher resolution screen than the iPhone and that is also transreflective for better viewing in the Sun; It actually works as mine has it as well. The batter will outlast a iphone by a mile and you can, imagine this, take it out

For a person in to open systems this thing blows an iphone out of the water. I can SSH from it into any of my Unix servers at work and use RDC to take over my work wintel desktop if I need. Great toy that also has true work functionality. And all the software is FREE!
