Near the bottom of the class

http://www.c-span.org/PresidentialSu...l-Ranking.aspx

65 prominent historians have ranked the 42 past presidents of the United States. George W. Bush ranked 36th and managed to beat Millard Fillmore. Bush bootlickers can take great pride in that.

Even Herbert Hoover, the man who brought us the Great Depression, managed to beat Bush. Jesus, even Richard Nixon, one of the lowest human-like lifeforms ever to leave a slug trail around the White House managed to beat Bush.

1 - Abraham Lincoln
2- George Washington

The problem with the survey is that it's done today.
Where do you think Nixon rated in 1976, higher or lower than today? Why?

A future history's perspective, combined with the half-life of political memory and human bias, could very well move Mr. Bush much higher on that list.

No doubt his ranking will change. Clinton moved up 6 slots since the 2000 survey and Jimmy Carter dropped 3 slots.

Bush might actually beat Herbert Hoover in the next survey, but I wouldn't count on it.

Making Carter and Nixon look good is a pretty tough thing to do:

"Worthless" because it shows that educated people think Bush was a horrible president, one of the worst ever?

Is this poll going to be the same everytime? NO.
How can you come to the conclusion that he is "one of the the worst ever", based off a POLL?
You can have an opinion that Bush is one of the worst ever. Your poll doesn't do anything scientifically.
