Motorola Moto G (3rd Gen)

Anyone have one of these? Any bugs that aren't being talked about on the internet? Feedback or experiences? My phone's wifi antennae died and I need a new smart phone for work. Its an entry level device and will taper my expectations to its system but curious of any hands on experience from folks this summer.

Thanks in advance.

Phillip

I have a 2nd gen and it's fine. Sometimes it can be a little sluggish switching between apps if I haven't restarted it in a week or two, but other than that it does what I need it to do (podcasts, stream music, google maps navigation, email, and, you know, be a phone).

Thanks, mate. It gets rated fairly highly for call quality which will be huge as I have had bad luck in my first go round with smartphones. Don't need much functionality other than what you describe.

Mother-in-law has a 2nd gen and her only issue with the phone is that the sim card consistently comes loose from its slot. She's taken to taping it in place and that helps to some degree. I imagine they've fixed that issue in its next iteration.

Thanks for the info, folks. Its being built and on the way. Keeping my fingers crossed this one works out better than my HTC. My budget limits my options but the Moto G sounds like one of the better choices in my bracket. I mostly caee about battery life, call quality and real simple digital messaging/access so it seems to fit the bill.
