Lewis Lodge Ruins

I'm planning an early May hiking/camping/drinking trip to SE Utah and need some beta on the Lewis Lodge Ruins near the Bears Ears. Anybody been to that complex? I'm thinking that since it's a little higher altitude than the rest of the Cedar Mesa stuff that the bugs won't be quite so vicious. Better yet, I haven't been there. Any input is welcome. PMs are cool if you don't want to reveal details to the masses. I'm discrete when it comes to SE Utah ruins.
