Who's posting for Mike? I see proper sentence structure
My compliments to you. It's obvious you're paying attention to your message delivery, and I appreciate it.
Mike, let's compare the Republican Congress of say, 2005 to today. Don't you find it noteworthy that when they were in charge and aided by a GOP president their tone was "eff the little Dems; they're not in charge".
Now it's "we have to represent all the people".
I don't know if you watched Tuesday's presser between Obama and members of Congress. If you have not, Mike, please do. PLEASE do, it was an awesome moment in US political history (because a president taking questions from select members of Congress has never occurred in such a forum before).
Note that what Obama said was:
"The majority has to be inclusive. The minority has to be constructive."
I'm waiting for constructive Republicans, and I don't see many. I'm not casting them all as Sean Hannity clones; I don't want to stereotype. I see them as playing short-term, news-cycle politics when Obama (at LEAST Obama, if not Dem Congress) is playing long-term, 'teachable moment' politics.
(that being said, I wasn't terribly impressed with last night's Dr. Feelgood speech, but there is some encouraging signs of maturity in that Administration)
