The late 90 's were Imho the golden age of kayak vids., more rad creekin ' on obscure runs by local heroes, exploration, carnage, self effacing humor, killer music, etc..Today's vids are better technically and the boaters go bigger on huge falls and big water but there is less exploration (excepting Stookesberry and some others) more attitude and it seems to be mostly the same people running the same stuff allbeit very impressive stuff and usually crappy hip hop or uninspired classic rock...

could 'nt get Enter the Donkey on Mobile but Buck Fever was awesome.. digging out the VCR and vintage kayak tapes now

Speaking of which, did Colorado Coolaide ever find a home on the intertubez? Googling for it just brings up Johnny Paycheck songs and Coors beer, and I no longer own a VHS player to view my copy...

I can't find my favorite "old school" boating video....

Anyone remember "The Legend of Team C"??? Which of course was made famous by Floyd Turbo's interpretive canoe routine????

Sometime around '96.

Is that the one with a spoof of Corran Addison where a "Corn Anderson " pencils a 20 ft. plop n drop and acts like he 's a badass? As I recall they emphasized carnage.....didn't. Team C evolve into 'No Big Names', the guys that hucked the last 30 ft. falls of Agua Azul, into Rio Shumulja, in a raft?

I don't remember Corran A. being in it...but yeah it was pretty much about the carnage...a lot of footage in Colorado. They would throw up a "C" when they were dropping....basically a vertical "brown claw". There was a funny clip at a "Kum and Go" somewhere in Wyoming or Montana.....
