We saw their boat when we came down. Parked at a non camp, food slung in a tree. I suggest bringing a loud guitar player who stays up late to scare the bears back. Seems to work but my voice feels scratchy at noon when I wake up.

Wow, that's kinda intense.
Was sleeping on the ground in north park colorado one time, and woke up to large animals all around me. Hurd of cows, they tried to eat my boots and hat! Everything was covered in cow slobber. Glad they didn't step on me, sure beat having a bear try to eat my head though!!

Sounds like one more reason not to use bacon grease to slick your hair back!
