It’s been tough to keep most of my family and friend’s interested because only a few of them are boaters. So, I thought maybe the people that took the time to post on this forum may be willing to take the time to help me.

I am originally from Gunnison, CO and now ‘I am a work from home husband having moved to Costa Rica in 2008. In my spare time, I guide rafts and kayak.

You are one the first group of people I am contacting to help… other than my ‘friends’ and I will incorporate your ideas if they fit w/ the site.

I know I can make something in this world better for ourselves, our rivers and future generations.

Please look for me on the site if you can make it over.

Thank you,
Ryan Hotchkiss

I'm not opposed to helping somebody, but just think it's wierd that he'd ask for help in a PM instead of joining the community and some discussions and make some connections first.

Yes...and it made very little sense. I couldn't figure out what the hell he was asking for...specifically.

I did too. I responded, but asked for more info about his "mission" or goals with the website. Interesting that he didn't respond and hasn't commented on this thread...

It appears he visited all of our profile pages...and has now disappeared! If I had to place a wager, I'm betting his website will either suck or blow.

I took a quick peek at his website, then responded that it "looks pretty, but I'm not a social media guy". He did respond back with a thanks for looking and providing feedback. I think that's all he's looking for: feedback on his site. Regardless, I agree that his communication can use some work.
